When you're looking for a dish to bring to a party or family gathering, you can't go wrong with hummus. This classic Mediterranean dip is healthy and delicious in a compulsively snackable way. It's wonderful as a spread on sandwiches, or to dip your pita chips and veggies in.
This recipe is a great way to dip your toes into cooking with CBD. Our Pure CBD Isolate Powder mixes invisibly into the other ingredients. Heavenly Hummus comes together quickly and adds a touch of spice with chipotle peppers. Hummus is even better with a healthy boost from CBD!
Prep time 5-8 min
- 1 28 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 canned chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
- 1 tsp adobo sauce
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- juice of half a lemon
- 1-2 micro-scoop Pure CBD Isolate Powder
- 1/3 cup cold water
Zomica CBD isolate powder.
Place all of the ingredients except the water into a food processor. Blend for 1-2 minutes, then scrape down the sides and bottom of the food processor. Blend for another 1-2 minutes. Add cold water by tablespoons slowly until your hummus is creamy and thick (you may not need all the water). Taste and add more salt if needed.
Transfer your hummus to a serving bowl. Serve with pita chips or slices, vegetables such as carrots and bell peppers, and enjoy!
